He has coached teams to 19 bowl games so far. His list of accolades is long and includes ACC Coach of the Year, Big East Coach of the Year, Joseph V. Paterno Coach of the Year and the Associated Press Coach of the Year, plus many more. Coach Beamer is a proud graduate of Virginia Tech.

Cookie Pops-Monday

1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1 cup powdered sugar
2 eggs, beaten
3/4 cup oil
2 teaspoons vanilla extract

4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
candy coating: white, orange and dark chocolate
small candies, lollipop sticks
