Last week, a man in Canada took a six-hour bus ride to meet up with a woman he'd been talking to online. But when he got to the bus station, she didn't show. So he called 911 to report he'd been STOOD UP. But, ya know, standing someone up isn't illegal. And when the dispatcher told him that, he got madder. Because it's Canada, they didn't arrest him, and told him to just cool off.

Meep! Meep!
You're not going to like hearing this . . . but Looney Tunes cartoons might NOT have been scientifically accurate. As you know, Wile E. Coyote never could seem to catch the Roadrunner. Well, apparently, THAT is not accurate. Coyotes are actually more than TWICE as fast as roadrunners. Coyotes max out at 43 miles-per-hour, roadrunners max out at 20 miles-per-hour. **Next you're going to try and tell me Roadrunners don't have unlimited access to falling anvils.
Do You Suffer From Facebook Envy
Researchers have been looking into the effects of Facebook on society. And they discovered a common experience for people all over the world. It’s called “Facebook envy” – that feeling you get when you see all those happy pictures of your friends’ personal life and vacations. It can leave people feeling lonely and bummed out. Experts say the best antidote is to lay off Facebook for a while. Go see their lives in person. It’s not really as perfect as it seems online.

Valentine's reminder
Here's something to keep in mind as we approach Valentines Day. A simple hug can save your life. Experts say oxytocin, or what they call the 'love hormone', increases during a hug, causing a calming effect. In fact, the effects from one hug in the morning lasted throughout a tough work day (more for women than men, the study noted).
So give your sweetie a squeeze before leaving for work today!

Good News Story
Mourners at a Pennsylvania fast-food fan's funeral wanted him to have it his way, so they arranged for his hearse _ and the rest of the procession _ to make one last drive-thru visit before reaching the cemetery.
David Kime Jr. "lived by his own rules," according to his daughter Linda Phiel said. He considered the lettuce on a burger his version of healthy eating.
On Saturday, the entire funeral procession pulled into Burger King for one last burger. It was placed atop his flag-draped coffin at the cemetery. His daughter says the display wasn't a joke, rather a happy way of honoring her father and the things that brought him joy.
Kime, 88, a World War II veteran, died Jan. 20.
Restaurant manager Margaret Hess said she knew his face and his order. She and her crew made 40 burgers for the funeral procession. That's what you call a whopper of a sendoff. **Find something that brings joy to your life. It may just be the thing you're remembered for.
