Here's something to think about while you sit in traffic this morning: According to a study by researchers in Sweden, if you have a long commute, you're more likely to DIE.
People who have commutes that are longer than 30 miles are more likely to suffer from high blood pressure and heart disease.
Long commutes also cause people higher levels of stress . . . and they DIE at a younger age than people with short commutes.
If you have a long commute, you take more sick days, on average . . . AND you gain more weight. And the LONGER the commute is, the more it hurts your health.
The effects of a long commute are more severe for women than men . . . and people with low levels of education and low salaries are more affected.
And in a previous study, the researchers found that people with long commutes are more likely to get DIVORCED.
